British Columbia Unites Transport Agencies Under New Plan
National Transportation Week highlights a plan that unites BC's transit authorities to move people and goods faster. In May BC Ferries launched The Mid Island Express linking Nanaimo to Tsawwassen, with four new ships and terminal upgrades planned amid rising demand. Projects include Vancouver Island Highway Cassiar Connector and Okanagan Connector linking Merritt to Peachland. The Ministry of Transportation and Highways and partners BC Ferries, BC Transit, and BC Rail pursue efficient, innovative mobility.
