Chetwynd Health Blitz Connects Families At Centre Rink
More than 200 parents and preschoolers attended the fifth annual Health Blitz at the Chetwynd Recreation Centre Curling Rink. The four hour event offered optometry, auditory and dental screenings, story time, crafts and activities, plus information from service providers and nearby educational groups. The event is supported by local organizations including the South Peace Child Development Centre and a $5000 donation from the Chetwynd Society for Community Living to extend its run.
