Community Futures celebrates successes in Peace-Liard
The Peace-Liard Community Futures branch marked its funding impact since 1986 with loans totaling 10.2 million to over 400 local businesses. MP Jay Hill of Western Economic Development Canada attended at Dawson Creek to commend the program and its clients like Vector Geomatics, which repaid a loan in full after backing its Alaska Highway office start. The organization continues to offer debt counseling and aims to lend more, with 1.4 million available, serving entrepreneurs who don’t fit traditional bank criteria.
