West Fraser backs District of Chetwynd clinic project
West Fraser teams with the District of Chetwynd on a new medical clinic, saying private sector won’t take the risk. The project gains grant support from Northern Development Initiative Trust and Peace River Regional District, with groundbreaking possible next week. A joint health review committee will oversee physician attraction, facility upgrades, and shared staffing costs. The clinic will sit on district land opposite the post office and operate as a four-doctor, turnkey leasing model.
