Northern cancer clinic to begin in Prince George this year
Construction will start on a northern cancer centre in Prince George later this year enabling local radiation and initial chemotherapy treatment. Patients from northeast B C could avoid lengthy trips to Vancouver or Kelowna, reducing travel costs and keeping families together during treatment. The project, funded at 99.5 million, aims to improve access, care services, and survival rates in the region.
