Students seek summer jobs across Dawson Creek and Chetwynd
The Human Resource Centre for Students links youths with employers and posts job vacancies from seven to twelve dollars an hour. Since May 12 Dawson Creek posted 114 openings, including landscaping and computer operator roles, with ages 15 to 26. Brinsky notes demand far exceeds postings and advises networking beyond the job bank at Northern Lights College in Chetwynd. Employers may contact Brinsky for wage guidance and to post free job orders.
