Fire keeps burning as unsettled winds hinder crews
Unsettled weather hampered fire suppression in the Ran and Mon fires in Peace Country. Fire crews, nine cats, 35 workers, and air tankers operated from Fort St. John to contain flames, while repelling teams and helicopters assisted in hard to reach areas near Mt. Lemoray. Industrial restrictions limit work in the forest district as 20 fires have been recorded since July.
