Golden anniversary for Gordon and Helen Moore
Gordon and Helen Moore celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 2 1980 with a banquet and dance at the George Dawson Inn Dawson Creek hosted by their five children plus relatives and friends from Canada and the USA. Their family includes Kenny Bev Denny Gary and Marge along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. They lived in Dawson Creek Grande Prairie Ft St John Chetwynd and Moberly Lake and have been active in lumber and hotel ventures. They now reside in Richmond BC planning a move to Penticton BC. A Sunday gathering for about three hundred relatives and friends occurred at Harvey Evans lake frontage catered by the Chetwynd Fraternal Club.
