Paddle for the Peace draws large turnout amid Site C dam protests
About 271 boaters gathered at the Halfway River junction with the Peace River to celebrate the river and oppose the Site C dam. Participants included Fort St. John resident Angie Bon de Wall and First Nations member Clayton Davis who urged alternatives and said the area serves Treaty 8 nations.
