Swanson to Return for Emperor's Challenge Race
Kris Swanson confirms return to the Emperor's Challenge held 35 kilometres south of Tumbler Ridge on August 9. He dominated the event with eight consecutive wins until 2007 when Canadian Marathon Champion Steve Osaduik edged him. The race, billed as the world’s toughest half marathon, offers five hours to complete and remains highly demanding for top contenders. Osadnik and Swanson set a new record last year by narrow margins.
