Air quality monitors track Chetwynd air weekly
Wayne Crossland of the Credit Union runs a high volume air sampler on the roof to pull particulate matter for 24 hours every six days. The used filters, sent to Prince George for analysis, show weeklong pollution from cigarette smoke, mill and vehicle emissions. When results exceed limits, a pollution investigation follows.
