New job seeker site launches in Northern BC and Alberta
Jobspark.ca opened in November 2012 to connect job seekers with employers in northern British Columbia and Alberta. It reports over 20 000 monthly page visits and daily updated listings, with profiles for communities such as Chetwynd Dawson Creek Fort St. John Fort Nelson Grand Prairie and Prince George. Employers can post jobs for free and the site aims to address regional labour shortages through targeted postings and active engagement.
