United Way targets Chetwynd for regional funding drive
Mike Carter reports United Way of Northern British Columbia officers Brooke and Hedges seek meetings with Chetwynd community representatives to explain programs and funding opportunities. Applications for funding open mid to late February 2013 as local groups align with three pillars: seniors independence, successful kids and empowered families, and healthy safe communities. The Chetwynd Community Impact and Investment Committee leads outreach and reviews proposals to address local needs with locally driven, regionally governed programs.
