Peace spearheads paramedic training in Peace River
The Peace River district gains access to a new paramedic training network from the South Peace Health Council. Brent Deinstadt of B C Ambulance says 54 paramedics were trained in December, with 170 extra training hours added, and most training delivered online while remaining 40 percent online and 60 percent in person. Beth Kidd notes nurses will mentor, with program formalization forthcoming.
