Chetwynd property assessments rise five percent
Chetwynd sees a five percent rise in 2013 property assessments from 2012 with average single family values up from 218000 to 229000. Peace River region totals rise to 17.48 billion, led by subdivisions and construction. BC Assessment notes many owners may defer property taxes via low interest loan programs and encourages notices and complaints by January 31.
