Gas firms see bright future in Chetwynd area exploration
Shell Canada official Roger Runrick told an EDC hosted meeting in Chetwynd that the region’s under explored status and existing plant and pipeline support a busy exploration program. The Boulder well south west of Chetwynd spurred plans for 1991 92 construction with 15 30 miles of transmission to Pine River Hasler plant and possible minor local job growth. Additional activity includes Texaco partnerships and Amoco expansion toward Bull Moose, with Westcoast Plant as main regional controller.
