Two men charged after Chetwynd home invasion assault
Michael James Morris and Andrew Jeffery Hoard face multiple charges after a February 12 home invasion in the Kurjata Subdivision. RCMP say entry was by force, the victim beaten, and more than one prior intrusion reported. Hoard, from Victoria, was arrested February 15 with weapons and rock cocaine. Morris, 30, remained in custody with a March 1 court date as both men face counts of forcible confinement break and enter assault and assault with a weapon.
