District launches Taxi Saver for seniors and disabled
The District of Chetwynd and BC Cabs introduce the Taxi Saver program to aid seniors 65 and over and residents with disabilities. After over four years of work and a 10 000 first-year subsidy, the two-way deal covers half fare costs within Chetwynd and Peace River Regional District boundaries. Applications for handyPASS and eligibility forms are available at the district office and local hubs.
