Group insurance program highlights for Chamber members
At the February 7 1989 Chetwynd Chamber meeting Vice-President Bob Shirley and Insurance Agent Cliff Haycock outlined the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Program. Three plans are offered to members including Guaranteed Select and Individual Plans. The meeting also covered accreditation surveys at C.S.S. and math and science benchmarks. Volunteers are sought for Miss Teen Pageant and 30th Anniversary committees, plus a new secretary was appointed. The next general meeting is March 7 at the Dragon Palace.

Accreditation survey at Chetwynd Secondary School
The C S S Parent Advisory Committee met February 6 1989 in Chetwynd to conduct a BC Ministry accreditation survey. Survey team members included Chairman Mike Fitzpatrick Judy Howard and John Carswell with two other members. The process uses a 1 to 6 rating and staff self evaluation prior to on site review.
