Krawczyk Joins Canadian North Pole Expedition
Hank Krawczyk, a 35 year old Chetwynd resident and silviculturist, joins Dawson Creek explorers Jock McConnell and Tim Everson for an all Canadian unassisted trek to the North Pole. The team departs February 24 from Edmonton to Resolute Bay and plans a two month journey with 60 to 300 pound sleds, no dogs or snow machines, using sextants for navigation.
