BC Hydro cancelled the June 2014 procurement for early clearing on the Site C south bank site after bids failed to meet objectives. Two bids had already come in and work could have begun last fall if approved. The winning contractor would have cleared about 670 hectares and 77 000 cubic meters of merchantable wood for potential sale or disposal.
