Candlelight ceremony marks fight to end violence against women
Denise Briggs reports on Saulteau First Nations Health and Social Development Centre hosting a candlelight ceremony to raise awareness of violence against women and honor Lynn Mavis Gauthier, murdered by her boyfriend who received eight years in jail. The community hears calls to break silence, address various abuses, and support victims through resources like the Chetwynd Transition House.
