Hydro selects U S firm to repair W A C Bennett dam
BC Hydro named Hayward Baker Inc of Santa Paula California to repair two sinkholes on the W A C Bennett Dam using compaction grouting. The firm will subcontract much work to Founder Explorations and Fields Drilling. Work to start in March with completion expected late April to early May. A trial at Canoe Pass terminal will precede the dam work. Estimated total cost about 10 million dollars.
