Scouts in Chetwynd cheer popcorn prize winner
The Eight Chetwynd Scouting group announced a grand prize for popcorn sales on February 2. Beth Mattioli won a Nintendo 3DS after selling the most popcorn, with brother Matthew earning a toy gun prize. The siblings helped raise about $2,200, while BC Hydro donated $2,000 to Energy Promote BC Efficiency. The club, about 30 members meeting weekly, funds activities from movies to hiking, and teaches outdoor survival skills.
