RCMP plan charges in ongoing fraud probe
Constable Hromadnik says charges are imminent in a long investigation that began in September 2011. A suspect and court date or arrest warrant are expected within months as RCMP advance the case. The Women's Centre had continued programs until a couple weeks ago, with Safe Home Outreach coordinator Cheryl Widdicombe noting funding was pulled years earlier.
