Pat Borton Urges Firm Stand on Monkman Highway Issue
In an Echo interview Pat Borton calls Merchants Chamber of Commerce and District Council to take a firm stand on the Monkman Hwy. plan. He argues the Tumbler Ridge route mainly benefits Tumbler Ridge and Prince George, with little gain for other communities and risks turning Hwy 97 into a second class road. He urges Chetwynd to engage with nearby towns to assess true regional benefits.
