Province auctions 20 Crown land parcels near Hudson's Hope
Lands minister Jim Chabot announced the public sale of twenty Crown land parcels in the Farrell Creek agricultural development near Hudson's Hope. Bidders must be Canadian citizens over 19 and residents of the province for two years. The Andy Teslyk residence took first place and 100 in the Light-up Contest. Al Hardie placed second with 75, Shirley Morrison third with 50, and Ed Williams fourth with 25. CJDC organized the event, sponsored by ten Chetwynd merchants and local businesses. Judges were Susan Kelm, Fred Knowles and Lorne Shurer.
