Challenge Day spirit persists in Chetwynd area
Local resident Trish Young aims to sustain the Challenge Day movement after a successful October event at Chetwynd Secondary School. More than 500 students from Grades 7 to 12 participated in a week promoting Mahatma Gandhi’s be the change ethos, focusing on noticing, choosing, and acting to foster honesty, forgiveness, and community improvement. Young seeks volunteers for a Challenge Day Community Committee to keep the message alive in schools and beyond.
