Gretzky heads Vision Week and Hudson's Hope hoops
The December 9 boys basketball milestone at Hudson's Hope High School in Fort St John follows a five year building plan. losses to North Peace Oscars 87 33 and Bethel Christian 85 47 and Grande Prairie 87 03 reflect an inexperienced grade 12 squad. The program shifts to three levels to boost small schools and upcoming games include Chetwynd Cavaliers on December 17. Wayne Gretzky named Honourary Chairperson of Save Your Vision Week March 6 12 1988 with an emphasis on Precision in Vision. The CAO runs a poster contest with top prize trips to Edmonton and Ottawa for two, plus Oilers access. BC optometrists also sponsor a Vancouver trip contest with deadline February 11.
