Boundary extension plans seek First Nations and agency input
The PRRD has no veto over municipal boundary changes but must be considered in expansion. Chetwynd plans a boundary realignment with a no objection motion by PRRD and fast tracking to Victoria. Citizens will be allowed to object or support, with a referendum threshold set at ten percent of electors. Eligible voters total 1971. responses due January 22, 2013.
