Chetwynd weighs tax exemption changes for industrial growth
District of Chetwynd advances revisions to Revitalization Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 977 2012 to boost light and heavy industrial development. If final readings pass by year end the program could extend three year exemptions and include new boundary areas. Walter Energy Willow Creek mine likely to benefit as boundary expansion proceeds in 2013.
