Cadets Celebrate 31st Anniversary Banquet
The 393 (Mile Zero) Squadron Royal Canadian Air Cadets held their 31st anniversary banquet at the Royal Canadian Legion auditorium. About 120 attended a turkey supper served by the Ladies Auxiliary and Job's Daughters. Major G Clements reviewed the squadron, with a Colour Party and Band led by Captain Carriere. Promotions were announced, elevating Shauna McGovern, Darrel Blois, Tom Carriere and Don Der to Corporal and Pat Minall, Calvin Hoy, Mark Dudley, Louis Dumont and Garry Friesen to Sergeants.
