Chetwynd Novice Team Falls Short In Tournament Final
Chetwynd Conoco Phillips Novice squad opened with two wins over Fort St. John Rotary and Taylor, then crushed Tumbler Ridge 15 0. In a rematch battle with Grand Prairie GT Oilfield, goaltender Thomas Gohn kept it tight before Grand Prairie pulled away 6 3 in the final. Peter Davis scored twice for Chetwynd with Vinck and Gohn contributing key plays. The outing set up further clashes with Grand Prairie and renewed rivalries with Mackenzie Knights.
