Suburbia creator Swanson to lead Dawson Creek club
John Swanson, who co created the board game Suburbia with Relativity Productions, will become general manager of the Dawson Creek Golf and Country Club early next year. The family funded project began at a Thanksgiving weekend two years ago and is now in stores with Montreal production. Swanson says the game appeals to teens and adults and even younger players join the challenges. The game is distributed from Smithers, B C, manufactured in Montreal, and available locally at the Northern Toy Box and the Gallery. He plans to work on the club’s 2003 season and will visit Dawson Creek several times in the near term.
