Canadian Forest Products Ltd directed overweight truck fines collected over the last year to local health care groups. Donations totaled 2500 dollars to the Chetwynd and District Hospital Foundation and 2500 dollars to the Chetwynd Hospice and Palliative Care Society. Receivers included Venessa Weightman and Lynn Young, with Canfor officials Aubrey Gerstel and Ben Beaulac presenting the funds.
