Chetwynd Moves to Clean Up Boarded Buildings
Chetwynd council approved a rule requiring owners of boarded up properties to paint materials to match the exterior within 14 days or face enforcement. The meeting also heard about naming a new skate park for Josh Lavallee and Mike Bateman, possible “Ride Your Heart Out” option, and a $1,000 district donation to PVBB for the Aug 29 race drawing racers from Kamloops and beyond. The district will send a letter urging BC recreation infrastructure renewal, and new recognition gifts add milestones of 25 30 and 35 years with lifetime pins.
