Critters of Moberly Lake Family of Jays and Other Birds
A reader reports a family of blue jays visiting feeders at Moberly Lake with two adults and two fledglings. The fledglings show feather growth, chatter constantly, and exhibit predatory behavior toward ground-feeding young birds. Nearby, honeysuckle attracts many songbirds, while a piebald grebe and a duck nicknamed the neighbourhood Duck appear around the lake. June, a long-time Moberly Lake resident, enjoys nature.
