Chetwynd Gets Green Light For New AM Radio Station
CJDC Radio General Manager Mike Michaud says the CRTC has approved a 1000 watt AM station at 1450 on the dial in Chetwynd BC with call letters CHET RADIO. It will rebroadcast CJDC initially but later operate independently as local content grows and may sever ties with CJDC Dawson Creek. construction starts now with hopes to be on air before Christmas 1980.
