Pine Pass fire destroys Silver Sands Lodge in Cradward Pye
Eight residents, including Sherri and Jim Diesel and their children, escaped unharmed from Silver Sands Lodge in Pine Pass after a Saturday fire that consumed the lodge but left two one room cabins, an out house, and the well. The owner laments loss of keepsakes and wedding dress while crews work to restore power and determine the cause with volunteers assisting.
