Amoco delays Carbon Creek plans amid aboriginal study
Amoco Canada will pause seismic work and defer drilling approval at Carbon Creek in Northeastern British Columbia pending an ethno historical study on Aboriginal presence and potential impacts. Senior VP Sherrold Moore said findings expected this fall will guide plan reviews. The project area covers about 10 000 hectares under Drilling Licence 181.
