Peace River author launches book at Chetwynd library
Maureen Killian Gammon, known as Caroline Woodward, spoke at the Chetwynd Public Library on April 25 launching Disturbing the Peace, a collection of 14 short stories and two poems. The Cecil Lakes native completed a seven site reading tour with this stop, following an earlier Fort St. John launch two weeks prior. Her portraits of Peace River locals reflect life in the region with vivid detail and concern for the environment and dam-related land loss.
