District pledges accessibility leadership in town initiative
On Friday April 24, 2009, Chetwynd officials and volunteers hosted an accessibility awareness event. Councillors Brenda Massey Kathy Weaver promised district led by example, to inspire private business education. Participants with mobility challenges demonstrated door and counter barriers, highlighting daily frustrations and prompting calls for change.
