Chetwynd Farmer's Market faces slow turnout and plans growth
Susan Becker, manager of the Chetwynd Farmer's Market, reports only three members at a recent meeting but remains optimistic for the 2014 season. The market opens May 23 at ve Park from 3 to 7 pm, with $10 vendor memberships offering voting and committee seats. A Christmas market and Market Safe food safety course are planned, plus outreach to boost vendor turnout and potential partnerships with local eateries.
