Breeders Meet in Fairview Charolais Tour Kicks Off
About 45 cattlemen and farmers gathered at Sandy's Banquet Room in Fairview March 12 for the Canadian Charolais Association meeting, the first stop on an eight city tour drawing 300 cattlemen across Alberta Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Jim Hester executive secretary said the tour will expand the 1784 national membership, with Alberta Saskatchewan Manitoba and B C members detailed. Local organizers Nick Negu Joe Kaip Willie Makofka John Eastman and Mrs Ken Campbell welcomed attendees as presentations on prices and upgrading options via purebred Charolais bulls were shared.
