Village council chairing long April meeting agenda
The April 7 village council session ran a record length with all members present except Alderman Marion Hoover. Delegations included Stanley Associates Engineering on the Chetwynd Airport plan and Library Board chief Brenda Little with Maryin Sulz on the 1981 library budget. Requests to committee included a Legion parking plan and a 12 unit seniors residence near the Legion Hall. A lands ministry proposal to forgive part of a lot price for ten years non profit use was sent to committee. Time zone questions and a potential conflict of interest raised by engineer Dietrich Naumann were discussed as the meeting continued.
