Moberly Lake Lodge to boost northern British Columbia tourism
The Moberly Lake Lodge and Inn, a 5000 square meter complex costing 10 million dollars, will be built by Northern B.C. Enterprises Ltd and is set to become western Canada’s largest lodge of its kind. It will offer 47 suites 12 cabins a four star restaurant and banquet facilities. The project aims to attract Canadian and international tourists and is expected to create about 50 jobs locally with most positions filled by residents. Groundbreaking was attended by over 60 guests and the lodge is slated to welcome guests in late May 2000 with construction using BC materials and personnel.
