Chetwynd HEU members reject contract offer in province wide action
Hospital Employee Union members at Chetwynd General Hospital voted 87 percent against the proposal after BCNU received a better deal from HLRA. HEU spokespersons say HLRA undervalues workers with limited education and would grant only 48 cents per hour raise, well below the 1991 average of $1.49.
