Library Briefs and a Call for a Volunteer Gardener
The piece notes staff changes at the library with Geena Milliken and Takako Asakura joining on educational programs, and Sharon departing for a new habitat. Val earns a promotion, while the library seeks a volunteer to care for indoor plants and maintain a lush atmosphere. A raffle prize is donated by Estlin Helicopters owner Lorne Dalke, with tickets sold at the library during the yard sale fundraiser. Reserve a table for the sale and support the library.
