Cancer Month kicks off with daffodil sale drive

Donna Bettin of the Canadian Cancer Society leads seven volunteers including Kim Campbell Joannie Brown Judy Patenaude Helen Boylan Tina Rowledge and Karen Hale in a Daffodil Mug Vase Sale in Chetwynd. The Sth Avenue Cottage provided two sample arrangements and CSS class entrepreneurs led by Leo Sabulsky helped sell 5000 blooms. Proceeds support the Cancer Society as canvassers prepare for the annual campaign.
