Otto Elden and the Little Prairie Pioneers
In 1957 Otto Elden married Yvonne French who taught in Little Prairie. Their family included Alfrieda and Christopher. The Nicholsons, early settlers from Esterhazy, arrived in 1934 with a store, mail duties, and homestead claims. Mail routes, rough trail life, and road development shaped the community before the Nicholson store sold in 1949 to Campbell and Pfanner as railway land reshaped the area.
